About the Event

If you are a qualified scuba diver who wants to make a difference, here is your chance. As part of the Environmental Divers Clean-Up programs, we are running a series of Cleanup Dives at Moreton Island. There are limited spots available each event day so you need to register and bring a printed copy of your ticket and your Dive Card on the day. By attending the event, you are liable for your own personal safety, dive equipment, air-fills, food, water & sun protection. While it is free to attend, any voluntary donations towards the cost of fuel, running costs, rubbish disposal and associated equipment will also to help to make a difference - Donate here.

We will meet 1.5hrs before high tide (8.30 am for HT at 10.00 am) at Tangalooma Wrecks, Moreton Island. Dive time will be 55mins and the whole event will run for approximately 3hrs.

More information will be provided to ticket holders closer to the event and the event is subject to weather conditions.

Remember, diver safety is our main concern and all divers need to be trained in the safe handling of debris & rubbish before diving. If any ticket holder has any concerns, they must contact the event organisers before attending the cleanup. You are responsible for your own safety and equipment at all times and the organisers & sponsors accept no liability or responsibility for your individual safety.
